Foxrock Upathon

Get Involved

Every 2 years the Foxrock Youth Club delivers a 24 hour marathon, involving the whole community, and this October, 6 - 7th  it will be bigger and better than ever.

The 24 hour epic will raise funds for the Laura Lynn / Sunshine Home House, and will involve balloons, a lot of balloons, butterflies, a lot of butterflies, and a house which will emerge as the Upathon unfolds over the 24 hours.

Launch of the house into space is expected sometime around 2pm Sunday 7th October. Although planning is well underway and help and support has been volunteered, but still more is needed and particularly sponsorship of the event.  The R.E. Department are encouraging all students to involved in this wonderful event. Each of the R.E. teachers will show you a video clip on Laura Lynn / Sunshine Home House to show you what a great event this is. If you are interested you can ask your R.E. Teacher for more info or you can contact the Youth Club through Foxrock Parish Office, tel. 01 289 3492. It will be an experience not to be missed!
