Foxrock Upathon

Get Involved 

Every 2 years the Foxrock Youth Club delivers a 24 hour marathon, involving the whole community, and this October, 6 - 7th  it will be bigger and better than ever. 

The 24 hour epic will raise funds for the Laura Lynn / Sunshine Home House, and will involve balloons, a lot of balloons, butterflies, a lot of butterflies, and a house which will emerge as the Upathon unfolds over the 24 hours.  

Launch of the house into space is expected sometime around 2pm Sunday 7^th October. Although planning is well underway and help and support has been volunteered, but still more is needed and particularly sponsorship of the event.  The R.E. Department are encouraging all students to involved in this wonderful event. Each of the R.E. teachers will show you a video clip on Laura Lynn / Sunshine Home House to show you what a great event this is. If you are interested you can ask your R.E. Teacher for more info or you can contact the Youth Club through Foxrock Parish Office, tel. 01 289 3492. It will be an experience not to be missed!

Congratulations to all the 4th year students on your Junior Cert results today!  You should be very proud of all of your hard work last year and now you can enjoy your transition year!!

Welcome

The R.E. Department would like to welcome all students back to school.. we hope you have a fantastic year. There are a lot of new and exciting events happening in the R.E. Department so make sure you keep your eye on this page for updates!! Also we are delighted to say that we now have a new Oratory in the new school building which we hope you will all love and use in the coming months. There is also a new R.E. noticeboard located in the F corridor where all notices, posters and students work will be on display.

Congratulations to Louise Murray, 5th Year, who's stained glass art work is the design on which the stained glass windows in the oratory will be based on. Thank you to all the other fifth year students who produced wonderful works of art.

6th Year Graduation Mass Backdrop

The proposed images for the backdrop for the graduation mass have been added to the 6th year page. All 6th years are invited to view them, especially the art group as we will be making our final decision on the actual image for the mass on the first Tuesday back to school. To those students in the art group who have not met with Ms. Campbell yet - can you please sketch your ideas on paper and bring them to Ms. Campbell on or before Tuesday 17th April.
